Jay Harris
His charming personality lights up your television screen, his tidy and poised presence demands the attention of a room, and his witty delivery is the perfect complement to fantastic highlights put together for the millions of viewers who tune in to ESPN’s Sportscenter. During his tenure at ESPN, Jay Harris has hosted a variety of shows and special broadcasts, including the new Sportscenter AM, Sportscenter Los Angeles, Outside The Lines, NFL Live, Baseball Tonight, Cold Pizza, First Take, Friday Night Fights, and ESPN Sports Saturday on ABC.
Jay’s knowledge and longevity in the industry has earned him several honors including: a Silver World Medal from the New York Festivals, a Robert L. Vann Award from the Pittsburgh Black Media Federation, an EXCEL Award from the Hampton Roads Black Media Professionals. He was also part of two Emmy Award-winning SportsCenter shows. Harris is a 1983 graduate of Chapel Hill High School in Chapel Hill, NC. A 1987 graduate of Old Dominion University, he received a Distinguished Alumni Award in 2003 and served as the keynote speaker for ODU’s 100th commencement ceremony in 2004. He currently serves on ODU’s Board of Visitors.

Summer Owens is a nationally recognized keynote speaker, author, and educator dedicated to helping people overcome obstacles and live no excuses lives. She is the founder and president of S.O. What! LLC and the S.O. What! Foundation. Summer currently serves as the president of the University of Memphis National Alumni Board of Directors.
Tina Rae VanSteenbergen

Tina has been serving college students as a professional speaker for the past six years. When on stage, her audiences are captivated by her quick wit, addictive charisma, and prowess at hitting salient take-home points through authentic storytelling. Tina speaks to students around North America about how to bring the heart back to their leadership styles, and the voices back to women in their organizations and relationships. On a personal note, Tina went to Hamline University for her undergraduate education and then attended Illinois State University for her master’s. She is also a proud Minnesotan who will happily pour on her accent when asked. Tina currently lives in Minneapolis with her extremely long last name and her obnoxiously adorable puppy, Sherri.
True Colors
OΔK is proud to welcome True Colors to the National Leadership Conference. Every attendee will the chance to complete the True Colors On-Line Personality Assessment as part of the registration. Trained consultants from True Colors will lead a dynamic workshop Friday morning where you will examine yourself and learn from others. There will be a follow up session later in the day for those interested in becoming True Colors certified or just learning more about the personality assessments.
